M12 X Coding CAT6A 10 Gigabit Connector for GigE Vision Machine Vision This M12 X coding CAT6A 10 Gigabit connector belongs to our M12 Circular Connector series. It is specifically designed for GigE Vision machine vision systems where high speed image data must travel from camera to processor. The eight pin X coding configuration supports 10GBASE T over CAT6A cabling delivering 10 Gbps bandwidth. Four shielded twisted pairs carry data simultaneously at very high frequencies. For machine vision engineers this M12 X coding connector provides the bandwidth needed for high resolution cameras. A 10G link can carry multiple uncompressed video streams from 4K or 8K sensors. The X coding is a newer standard designed to handle the signal integrity requirements of 10G Ethernet. It prevents mismating with D coded or A coded connectors which cannot support these speeds.
