IP68 online digital salinity sensor for seawater aquaculture 

Salinity refers to the dissolved salt content in seawater, usually expressed in ppt (parts per thousand), the salinity measurement unit. Salt in seawater is mainly composed of chloride ions, sodium ions, sulfate ions and carbonate ions. The salinity of seawater is related to factors such as its density, temperature and pressure. Monitoring the salinity of seawater can be achieved by using a salinity meter or a salinity sensor. A salinometer is a density-based instrument that calculates salinity by comparing the density of seawater to the density of standard brine. The salinity sensor calculates salinity by measuring the conductivity of seawater. This DEC350 salinity sensor is specially used to measure the salinity value of seawater.
