Ruthenium-Iridium Coated Titanium Anodes – Ideal for Brine-to-NaClO Electrolysis. Titanium-based sodium hypochlorite anodes are mixed metal oxide (MMO) titanium electrodes coated with ruthenium-iridium oxide, built with high-purity titanium as the substrate and designed for electrolyzing brine (NaCl solution) to produce sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). They feature outstanding chlorine evolution capability, corrosion resistance and long service life, acting as core components for various sodium hypochlorite generators. When electricity is applied in 3–5% brine, chlorine is efficiently generated on the anode surface and dissolves in water to form NaClO. The Ru-Ir coating lowers chlorine evolution potential (1.1–1.3 V vs. SCE) and ensures stable chlorine production. Available with titanium hooks/flanges, in mesh/plate/tube forms (Gr1/Gr2 titanium), 5–15 μm coating thickness and 2–5 years of service, they meet ISO9001 standards.
