Material Composition and Properties: L605 is a high-performance cobalt-based superalloy composed primarily of approximately 50.143% cobalt (Co), 20.01% chromium (Cr), 14.96% tungsten (W), and 10.02% nickel (Ni). It exhibits excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance, with moderate rupture and creep strength below 815°C and excellent oxidation resistance below 1090°C. Performance Advantages: Udimet L605 cobalt-based alloy exhibits excellent high-temperature strength and maintains good mechanical properties in high-temperature environments. It also exhibits strong oxidation resistance, remaining stable up to approximately 1090°C. It also exhibits good resistance to sulfidation, wear, and galling, making it suitable for a variety of complex working conditions.   Welding Process Compatibility: L605 alloy is generally weldable using most conventional welding methods, using wires of similar composition (such as AMS 5796) or coated electrodes (such as AMS 5797).
