I. Product Overview   Citric acid is an important organic acid, colorless crystals, often containing one molecule of crystalline water, odorless, with a strong acidic odor, and easily soluble in water. Its calcium salt is easier to dissolve in cold water than in hot water, this property is often used to identify and separate citric acid. Anhydrous citric acid can be obtained by controlling the appropriate temperature during crystallization.   At room temperature, citric acid is colorless translucent crystals or white granules or white crystalline powder, odorless, extremely acidic, astringent, slightly corrosive, highly deliquescent, and slightly deliquescent in humid air. It can exist in the form of anhydrous or monohydrate. Citric acid is anhydrous when crystallized from hot water and monohydrate when crystallized from cold water. When heated to 78 °C the monohydrate decomposes to give the anhydrous form. Citric acid can also be dissolved in anhydrous ethanol at 15 °C.   This product…
