Kunming Mingzhu Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Kunming Nanba Chemical Plant and later Kunming Mingzhu Chemical Co., Ltd., was founded in 1963 as a state-owned medium-sized chemical enterprise. After decades of development, it has grown into the largest and most technologically advanced water treatment chemical manufacturer in Southwest China, integrating R&D, production and sales of various water treatment products.   In 2004, the company completed property right reform in accordance with modern enterprise system requirements, transformed into a private enterprise, and was renamed "Kunming Mingzhu Chemical Co., Ltd.".
