As mixed metal oxide (MMO)-coated titanium electrodes tailored for sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) production via brine (NaCl solution) electrolysis, titanium-based sodium hypochlorite anodes use high-purity titanium as the substrate and are coated with a catalytic ruthenium-iridium oxide layer. They excel in chlorine evolution, resist corrosion well, have a long lifespan and are essential for all types of sodium hypochlorite generators. Their working principle involves generating chlorine efficiently on the anode surface when electrified in 3–5% NaCl brine; the chlorine then dissolves in water to form NaClO. The Ru-Ir coating ensures low chlorine evolution potential (1.1–1.3 V vs. SCE) and high energy efficiency. With customizable structures (mesh, tube, etc.), Gr1/Gr2 titanium substrate, 5–15 μm coating thickness and 2–5 years of service, they pass strict tests (thickness, adhesion, lifespan simulation) and offer one-stop support, suitable for waterworks, swimming pool disinfection and…
